this is a great article overall, but IF I HAD JUST A NICKLE for every time I
heard this old (now cliche) rationale:

"Lyons said that for many women, their lifestyles make it difficult to
exclusively breast-feed.

He said that while he sees a high initial breast-feeding rate in his
practice, eventually it "intrudes on those real-life issues like going back
to work."

"The reality is it is not easy for most moms to pump and work. It's the
brick wall everyone seems to hit."

Lyons said that while he and the other physicians in his practice strongly
support breast-feeding, most women have already made up their minds before
they meet their baby's doctor. However, if he is asked, he said he
encourages women to breast-feed for as long as they can.

"If I could get everyone to breast-feed, I'd be thrilled. But, I don't guilt
people. I do tell them the longer the better," said Lyons. " >>end quote<<

Breastfeeding "intrudes" on real life? when are these ped's going to get it?
HAVING A BABY intrudes your life, and it IS real life. Breast is best,
but....
