Dear collages,

I have a mon who is from Spain but now right is in San Diego because she
has gone to adopt a newborn baby . In Spain she has done the Newman and
Pitman protocol in order to breastfeed her baby .

The Baby was born four days ago and at the moment she is using an Ameda
breast pumping . She is obtaining 9 ml in one breast and 0,5 ml in the
other one but the pediatrician has told her the baby could become to
dehydrated and at the medical room give her artificial milk .

The mummy told me that she wants to breastfeed her baby but she feels pain
in one nipple and she needs professional help.

Please could you tell me if is there any IBCLC in the city who could help
her?

Thanks in advance

Adelina Garcia , DUE, IBCLC, LLL Spain
