Are these among the most commonly eaten foods? I have always found it
interesting that the most common allergens are the most common foods.
Does anyone have an evolutionary / anthropological perspective on this
(Katherine D?)? My son has been asking if a shift in diet that is quite
sudden in evolutionary terms is responsible, i.e. the fact that we eat
more wheat and eggs today than in early human history. This seems so
true in so many ways in terms of the health risks of cow's milk (and
especially artificial infant milk) that I wondered.
