I got an interesting call from a woman today at 2:00 pm. She has a 7
week old baby and just returned to work last Monday. She is not able
to pump enough for the baby while she is gone, so she took a vacation
day to build up her supply. She took the baby to day care and hooked
up the pump. She had been pumping continuously since early in the
morning (>6 hours) and had only collected a couple of ounces. She
was using a rented double pump and wanted to know what she should eat
or drink in order to increase her supply. The pump depot is a
medical supply place with no lactation support. This mother was
distraught. Have any of you received calls like this? Cathy Liles
