Diane Spatz at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is the person to contact
for info on institutional change :-) 215-590-1000 She just did a
presentation for our ILCA chapter - LaCTo (Lactation Consultants Together
:-) on institutional change. she is an IBCLC and researcher, has written
articles on the changes at CHOP.

75% of their NICU babies are now breast milk fed. They are starting to work
on better transition to the breast before discharge. It has only taken her
8 years :-( but she has some really great info.

CHOP is considered the number one Children's Hospital in the US. Hopefully
other hospitals will follow their example. Pat in SNJ
