Hello!

Are there research studies to support the use of cold instead of heat (or
vice cersa) to treat engorgement? As this is a controversial subject, I
would love to know if anyone has a reference for this information. Most
texts mention the physiology of engorgement and engorgement complicated by
edema. Is there support in the literature?

Your comments are welcomed in advance.

Warmly,
Kate Cropp CNP, IBCLC, MSN
