At the end of the day, I think there are two critical points to convey:

1. That you understand the very real stresses on their schedules and psyches, given the almost inhumane case loads social workers must carry.

2. While you're giving them a lot of information, the MOST important one is your (or any other IBCLC's) phone number, to serve as a resource that is both respectful of all parties, as well as well-informed about breast feeding.  That way they can feel safe knowing there is someone to call who doesn't automatically assume the worst about CPS social workers, but who can help sort out complicated issues in a professional manner.
