Sorry, sodium cromoglycate-type nasal sprays can have quite unpleasant
side-effects :-( It can cause really nasty sores around your nose that
look like cold sores but aren't. It also hasn't got a great record for
working :-( However, it is, as you suggest, pretty harmless.
