I have a son with autism who has a limited diet. He is seven
(developmentally still around 3 1/2 - 4). He is nursing. It was only
once a week for most of the past year or so; now it's almost daily. I'm
sure it benefits him in many ways. Since I also have two younger
daughters (the youngest is 13 months), he has benefited from the newborn
milk after their births and I'm sure the nutrients in my milk help to
fill in some gaps not to mention the emotional benefit.
