This reading was from Joel 2, 16. "Gather the people, notify the
congregation: assemble the elders, gather the children and the infants at
the breast; ..."  The chapter heading ... The Day of the Lord.  I was
struggeling to stay awake after a long day and that one little word got
the blood pumping and I managed to attune to the rest of the service.
Are "we" nuts or what?  Anyone else find that they respond with gusto
when our favorite topic is mentioned? Just curious.
