I am looking for a reference for the following:  "Colostrum has a
high stabilizing effect on blood sugar".  It was written in a letter in
the June1995 JHL and I would like to include it in our new
breastfeeding protocol for the hospital to assist in trying to get
people to stop giving routine glucose water if a baby refused to
breastfeed.  Any ideas?
