I have permission to post.  I am working with a mother with her 3rd bout of 
thrush.  She is nursing a 3 1/2 month old.  She has used diflucan 3 times 
and nystatin 2x(with the diflucan) and gentin violet with the 3rd round of 
diflucan. She states each time she uses diflucan it is 1 pill daily for 9 
days.  She is usure of dosage.  Question is how long can she use gentin 
violet for and how long should she wait before she uses it again.  Her 
husband had a sore in the corner of his mouth and used herpicin with no 
help then used nystantin and sore went away.  mother wonders if husband 
should receive any further yeast treatment. thanks in advance for any help 
you can provide.
