Hello,

Thank you so much to everyone for your fast input.

Here is what we have decided to try:

  - Treat the family: for the mother 300mg of fluconazol 14 days, for the child 6 mg/kg/day the first day and then 3 mg/kg/day for 13 days, and for the partner 400 mg single dose.
  - Hygene measures: careful hand washing, etc. All objects that come into contact with baby´s mouth (pacifiers, teats...) will be submerged into water with bicarbonate (a spoonfull for every 200 ml of water) for a few hours to clear out candidas.
  - change in diet: lessen sugar, avoid yeasts (mushroom, cheese, beer...), take acidophillus supplements and sugarless yogurts.

After the bout is over, we will consider fluconazol 200 mg once a week with a profilactical purpose.

I will keep you updated on the results.

  Thanks again.
  Kika
