I think this is a very interesting discussion. One that has many confounding issues. As with all things there is the general popualtion and then there are the individuals. I was fed cow's milk (striaght from the frig) by the time I was two weeks old. Never any breastmilk. I started my menses at 14 almost 15 years of age. My daughter will be 15 in August, breastmilk only for the first 6 months and then mixed feedings. She is just starting to develope breast,s very slowly which is good as there is little growth on the right side. My stepson had formula from birth and my son had mixed feeding after about 1 month. My son is two years younger and they went through "the change" at the same time, 14 years and 12 years. I fianlly got breastfeeding figured out with the 11y/o nothing but breastmilk for 7 months and then on to 18 months with complimentery foods. She is showing no signs of premature delvelopment. Thank goodness as she is going to be a knockout
with blond hair and blue eyes and a killer smile.
