Jacie,
I also lead a breastfeeding support group-2x a month, pretty much an equal
mix of working and stay at home moms. To be honest with you I had noticed the
exact opposite to be true with my group.
The stay at home moms seem to have thinner babies-the working mom's seem to
have chubby babies. I speculated with my group that it was due to a) babies
of working/pumping moms overeating due to bottle flow & caregiver ignorance
of breastfed norms, b) working moms staging "nursathons" when they get home
to "make up" for being away all day, and c) the stay at home moms seem to
keep their babies "busier" during the day-higher calorie expenditure?
Just my $.02... any one else care to comment???
