Dear Judy,

The link between hypothyroidism and PPD does not surprise me.  Our
hospital has a psychiatric wing and all of our new patients are routinely
screened for thyroid problems.  There should be a lot of refererences on
this is the literature - perhaps you need to search for depression or
psychiatric problems in general and their link to thyroid abnormalities.

Good luck with your work.  Looking forward to the results of your
masters' thesis - this is information everyone needs to know about.
