Dear colleagues: 

Thank you very much to the one hundred IBCLCs who have responded to date to my survey on the practices and opinions of International Board Certified Lactation Consultants regarding postpartum depression in breastfeeding mothers. Relatively few new IBCLCs--those who have been accredited for less than one year--have responded so far. So, if any of you are new IBCLCs and have yet to participate, please consider doing so. Also, if you know any new IBCLCs, please consider informing them of the study. And, regardless of the duration of their accreditation, the participation of more IBCLCs is needed if the data is to accurately represent the broad spectrum of IBCLCs in practice today. The online survey is anonymous, brief, and easy to use. If you are interested in completing it, please visit the research page of my website (www.lifecirclecc.com). A link on the research page will take you straight to the survey. The survey will close on June 10, 2006. Only IBCLCs may complete the survey.
