a study of two does not make anything more than conjecture, but the last two
mothers that were in need of increasing their milk supply began using
fenugreek/blessed thistle either by capsule or tincture, and one of them has
been on domperidone. i had both of them try goats' rue tincture, which was
recommended by someone else on lactnet a while back, and it seemed to add to
the effect of the fenugreek/blessed thistle combination.

it doesn't seem to be a widely available substance, but there is one company
in boulder that makes it, and they will ship it. you could also suggest using
the milk bank protocols for the donated milk (hasn't this come up before?
about helping clients decide about using donor milk?). if you establish the
base health status of the donor mother and baby, it is unlikely that the milk
could present a problem. and where is darlene's milk bank? sorry, i having
memory loss from the onslaught of halloween activity around here. or, my
broken record routine, the milk bank here in denver could ship some even to
vermont, which at last checking, was still part of the USA.
