Naomi Bar-Yam asked:
>has anyone else had this experience of kids consciously using nursing
>as a warmer?

I am behind on my e-mail, so sorry if this subject has been closed. It is
funny that I happen to be reading this right now! My 9.5 mo daughter has
been waking up more frequently the last few nights, and wanting to come
into bed and nurse. After a few sucks, she will fall back to sleep,
provided she is touching my body. If I try to put her back in her bed
(right next to our bed, she wakes up and complains. I figured out last
night that the reason she was waking was due to being cold, and that
nursing helped her warm back up. (She always works up a sweat while
nursing!) The last 3 nights, it has been in the 40's over night here. I
have noticed that when it is over 50 degrees overnight, that she does not
wake as much...hmm...wonder if dressing her warmer would help that?!
Anyways, sorry to ramble, just my thoughts.
