I find that asking the timing of the pain in relationship to the feeding is
a very useful clue.  Pain with latch on that stops with swallowing, Pain
worst at latch on but continues and gets worse if baby repositions, Pain
that is pretty much the same but changes to burning after the feeding is
over is almost always yeast.
