Pat,
What behaviour is she looking at that makes her wonder about a soy intolerance? I am vegan and my youngest ds was very sensitive to soy (he is now 5) --I took it completely out of my diet for his first year and introduced it to him slowly much later than that. Now, I only eat soy about twice a month (except for some tamari) and my children eat it a few times per week (only tofu, tempeh or edamame)--never tvp or meat analogs or soy milk. I knew immediately that eh was allergic b/c he stooled only about once per week--he had no other signs at all. But, when he was older, I just had a feeling that he was still sensitive, just based on minor behavioural issues. We are all better off with much less of it (and we are all vegan).
