Anyone who is questioning the integrity or honesty of Dr. Schanler is
missing the point.  If this ever was the issue, it should go away.  He and
his co-authors have far too many friends on this list and far too much
history as strong supporters of breastfeeding for me to doubt them.

But, they have published a study which might be one of the most dangerous
pieces of medical literature in a long time and we have to continue to stir
to roil the waters and let people know how many other experts disagree with
their conclusions and their methodology.
