Hi to all.  I know we're not supposed to use the list for individual
messages but I hope you'll excuse me just this once, because:

**I've been accepted to medical school!**

Two years ago when I was doing full-time preparatory coursework, I
regretfully set Lactnet to "postpone" and I've only been able to read and
participate fitfully since....  so while I know a lot of the Lactnet
veterans, I know there are a lot of you out there that I haven't yet 'met'
in the cybersense.  Regardless, I consider you all my friends: when I am
able to follow the Lactnet discussion for days or weeks at a time, I am
always sooooo grateful for the caring, common sense, and high intelligence
of our list.  I'll be reading / lurking on Lactnet for a few more months and
then I am sure I will once again postpone when classes start in August.

I sure do appreciate you all giving me the chance to crow.  I am still
breathless at having reached SO high and succeeded against such daunting
odds!
