Woooops! As an RN, I never have to retake my licensing exam (as long as I 
don't let it lapse), even if I want to gain a license in another state.

The advanced certifications that many of us hold from NCC (our RNC 
designations) are not validated through an exam retake, either. We have to 
document a certain number of continuing ed credits every 5 years.

Certainly, retaking the exam every 10 years does nothing to demonstrate our 
competencies.

Maybe we should work on that forst.
