  When I lived in Georgia I contacted the cdc re: hiv transmission from baby
to mom in a similiar situation .. .this was after the incident in Russia
where mother's were "reported" to have contracted hiv from their bf babies...
I was assured that a) all the information from the cdc visit to rusia we NOT
as reported in the news and b) they felt it HIGHLY UNLIKELY that such
transmission could occur.
