Thanks to those of you who so quickly sent information about Zoloft and its
saftey in BF. I took the 4 responses I received to the Neonatologist this
am. He talked to the parents, and they have decided to breastfeed. Even
though mom had not been pumping (she did not want to bring in her milk if
she could not nurse), and baby is 48 hrs old, she pumped and got colostrum,
which was very encouraging to her. Baby is in the NICU and only allowed
out q 3 hrs to feed right now, so I was not able to help her get him to
breast. She'll attempt to nurse first, then pump for next couple of days
at least, till baby is able to stay with her or (hopefully go home). Thank
you all!
