Maurene,

I am a Board Member of our local March of Dimes Chapter.  Our local group has
been very supportive through several mini-grants ($2,000 or less) awarded to
our hospital for breastfeeding promotion.  They have been especially
interested in promoting breastfeeding in our teen and "at risk" populations.
This year our annual breastfeeding conference featuring Dr. Auerbach was, in
part, funded by a grant from March of Dimes. A colleague has recently
submitted a larger state level grant for funds to assist us in setting up our
lactation center.

Breastfeeding fits in nicely with the mission of the March of Dimes.
