I'm seeking resources/information on cytomegalovirus. If a preemie is asymptomatic but serum positive for CMV (it was contracted in utero) and starts antiviral meds, when it is safe to receive mother's milk? Who has experience with this kind of situation and can give input or ideas on how to speak with hospital staff?

Julie-Ann Toalston, BA, IBCLC
