I am forwarding this to Lactnet for Sarah. Please respond to her at

i have a client who is 22 weeks pregnant with her first baby.

as a very young woman, she had breast inplants. this was because she never
developed breasts as a teenager. now she is very worried that she won't be
able to breast feed because

there won't be appropriate hormones - her hormones didn't work to develop
her breasta as a teenager, there won't be enough breast tissue , the danger
of silicone leaking.

has anyone got any comments about any of these issues. can one test milk
for silicone content?

 thanks
 sarah
