Hi Ruthy--as one recovering thumb sucker to another, I can't agree with you
more about the latex pacifier. I am very concerned about the lack of
sterility. Latex attracts hair, dust--and it sticks! Both my kids were
finger suckers. The first one sucked his thumb, and the second one sucked
his two middle fingers. Both of them have a nice set of teeth, and finger
sucking did not ruin their teeth or their fingers, and it was so much easier
to clean their fingers, and much more reasonable. After all, how many kids
lose their thumb, and scream for a replacement?
