Please do not underestimate the impact you may have on the students you
interact with.

As an undergraduate I took a women's studies course on "Women and
Health".  That course, and the instructor,  probably had the most
profound effect of almost anything.  The first day of class the
instructor starting leaking in front of the class - she very
nonchalantly (sp?) commented that it was the first time she was away
from her baby for more than 30 minutes.  We also read some major
classics :  Immaculate Deception, For Her Own Good, and Lying In.
These stiil have a place on my book shelf.

After this course I made a promise to myself to  have my babies with
midwives and breastfeed.

You never know who and how you may influence someone!
