Dear Friends,

A week ago I posted asking lactnetters if they would help stop Nestle from doing a "wine and dine talk" for health professionals.  As you know, offering food and wine to entice health professionals, violates Article 7.3 of the WHO Code.

Thank you to all of you who did answer our call for support.  Many emails have gone to Nestle to protest what they are trying to do and to ask them to cancel their talk but as of Friday, the "wine and dine talk" was still scheduled to take place on June 12, 2008.

Please consider joining our email campaign.  Your email can be very brief.  Nestle has been sent lots of information about the Code and they know they are violating it.
