The following is a rant. Delete or skip if you wish.

The excellent posts from Marsha Walker and others
regarding Lipil and the recent "improvements" to
artificial infant milks has me steaming.

Pharmaceutical/"formula" companies are in business to
MAKE MONEY. Yes, they claim to have the interests of
improved health at heart, but their actions show
otherwise. By continually introducing new products
*without adequate long-term, human testing and
trials*, they show a reckless willingness to treat
fellow human beings, the public they serve, as little
more than lab rats. I know of at least 2 vaccines for
infants that have been introduced in the past 5 years
or so, that have either been pulled off the market, or
have had their recommended issuance modified to
selected groups. This sort of experimentation with
the bodies and health of our vulnerable, precious
children needs to be stopped.

I am going to print and review of Marsha's post on
Lipil; the next time parents ask about the "new,
improved formulas", I will be better informed, and
able to provide them with accurate information.

I will stop now, before I get myself in even more
trouble than I am already in...

Carole
whose dander is up just in time for our staff meeting
this morning! Wheeee!
