The purpose of nasal saline is to make to mucus thin to help move in either direction. I recommended to pateints alot. I dont get a lot of chances to recommend it to breastfeeders if you know what I mean.
My baby does get some runny noses after my wife takes him to play groups or as I call them infection clubs. I look on the bright side that runny nose is probably the same influenza A or RSV that puts some formula feeders in the hospital and maybe it gives his immune system something to do instead of reacting to dog dander.
Anyway maybe the next time he has a runny nose...
My wife already thinks I'm nuts for the times I put breastmlik in his eye.
