Thank you for these suggestions! I have already passed these ideas on to the mother.

A few weeks back I did mention the possibility of a TT, and she did ask - I believe her pediatrician - but the idea was dismissed. I am not qualified to evaluate for TT, myself, as I have no experience with them, so can neither argue nor confirm the diagnosis. It would make sense, though. As we live in a military community overseas, the medical staff is constantly rotating I'm not sure how much knowledge the docs here have regarding TT. Is there somewhere reliable where I can get more information on recognizing various TT so that I can make suggestions with more confidence (of course, always with the disclaimer "I am not qualified to diagnose, but I suspect...")?

I think CST is a wonderful idea! Somewhat related - no other asymmetry has been observed. Latch is the same on both sides, baby looks both directions and muscle tone seems symmetric.

Keep the great info coming! I hate to see a mother suffer - especially a friend - but I appreciate the opportunity to learn more from the wise ones here.

Rene
