The local newspaper carries an advice column by Dr. Gott.  There are
numerous letters touting the benefits of Vicks Vapo Rub applied twice daily
to toenails to rid them of fungus.  This is a topical decongestant; the main
ingredient is camphor.  I don't know the implications for a nursing mother,
but apparently this works for a number of maladies of the nails and skin.
