I would choose a live interview over Dateline any day.  They can truly take
bits and pieces of interviews and change it in the editing room to paint a
picture in any manner they see fit.  I wouldn't trust what I consider to be
such a precious topic and one that needs positive exposure in the US so
desperately to the edit room floor.  At least live you have some control over
that and can change a question into anything it "needs" to be changed into.

I'm sure there are several on here that have done TV work and will ring in
with their opinions on this beyond my peanut gallery view.
