 Congratulations and thanks for the nifty info on BFing 50 years ago in Russia.  My oldest is 57 and you did not nurse for 24 hours, then baby tried sugar water and then you got to nurse 3 min on each side q 4 hrs.  She only nursed 2 1/2 weeks, when my breasts were soft and she wanted to eat every 2 hours so I was sure I didn't have enough milk.  Finally had success with baby 4 (50 yo now)- After I joined LLL!  Those were the days!!! Pat in SNJ
