Your a champ...keep fighting.  When they see the efficiency of immediate
post-natal visits, and the improved health of the patients they will come
around. You've won the first battle by convincing your dept. head to make
some immediate changes.  Don't give up!  The facts are behind us.

P.S. Re: Yellow, green and blue milk...thanks for the art class!
Anecdote: When I was an infant (fed only on formula and jars of baby food
[note that I did not mention a specific brand, gang]) my tummy turned
orange.
In a panic my mom took me to the ped and after learning that she was
spooning carrots and squash into my hungry little mouth...encouraged her to
add some green veggies to my diet. End of yellow-belly!
