I'm with you, Jodine. Many of our technologies are a two edged sword, 
and undermine breastfeeding as much as - or more than - they protect it.

I personally prefer the public-private partnership model that you cite 
where public servants participate in transporting milk. I think that is 
ideal, as it underscores the value of breastfeeding for the whole community.

No one knows what effects a novel processing method will have on human 
milk. Unfortunately in the US many people don't even think twice about 
consuming processed food, and the effects of processing are only studied 
if there is reason to believe there is harm (heterocyclic amines, etc).
