Some dentists in England are using the following drugs in dental surgery:
Brietal with nitrous oxide
Thiopentone
Midazolam (sedation)
These dentists are saying that a mother receiving these drugs should not
breastfeed for 24 to 48 hours afterwards.
I looked these drugs up in the British National Formulary (Equiv. to PDR) and
found no contraindications for breastfeeding. Is these any other documentation
I could offer? Thanking you in advance for any help.
