I agree that based on the summary, these are kind of obvious findings...  One other thought comes to mind though: I appreciate the thought of trying to create a tool to help avoid the use of formula, but should that not be the last resort (in a perfect world) in the case of the dehydrated newborn?  Donated milk, IVF, lactation consult, pumping and finger/cup feeding (if latching is an unresolved issue) all come to mind in order resolve dehydration while saving that gut from formula exposure.  One other thing comes to mind... what about those plump babies from surgical deliveries who have birth weights that might register higher than they should?  As they diurese, they might be misinterpreted in a chart such as this....
