Louanne, I'm saying this with tongue in cheek and one eyebrow raised -  how do
you *know* that babies don't easily absorb vits A, D & C through breastmilk?

 I was behind on posts but thought I'd add this--our pediatrician prescribes
 this to bf babies because vit A,D, and C are not as easily absorbed through
 breast milk.  >>
