Hello Heidi

Sending old editions to "some other parts of the world" may not be as straight forward
as it seems. One reason is that the books are written in English therefore may be of
very limited use.

I'm not trying to burst your enthusiasm or say it's necessarily a bad idea just speaking
from my experience of giving some books to a Vietnamese doctor recently.
Understandably she would now like to locate organisations and donors to help translate
and distribute the books. I hadn't thought of that and inadvertently things have become
quite complicated.

Then there's the added dilemma of knowing you're sending "old" information. I know I
don't like having the old version if there's a new one available. However, the recipient
may welcome any edition, even if old, rather than none!

Another factor is the cost since books are heavy to post. The books I donated were
going to cost $NZ43 - that's about $US77. Fortunately I was able to give the books in
person at a conference we both attended.

heard that these can be useful in some other parts of the world
> where = budgets do not allow for the purchase of new copies every time
> they are = issued ... can anyone tell me where to send our old books?
