An update on the situation here in Orlando where the mom of the 14 month old
is being threatened by HRS. Some of you have gotten private post from me in
response to your suggestion and outpour of empathy (a must for a good LC to
have, plenty on empathy).

Today, Dr. Carr was able to get hold of the case worker and go into great
detail explaining growth charts and that being below the 5th percentile does
not mean the child is unhealthy or at risk, it just means the child is at the
lowest end of normal. The case worker told him they won't go to court at this
time, but that they weren't ready to close the case either.

Thanks for all the prayers, thoughts and concern.  I will keep all posted on
how things go.
