I had one baby of the silent sort who was made to take to class, and one who
chatted and gurgled and grunted contentedly from the moment of birth -- not
suitable for the theatre or the lecture hall!

However, even with a pretty quiet, easy-latching, sleeping baby, many first
time moms are not ready to take their brand-new breastfeeding skills into
quite so public a place as an MBA classroom -- much less cope with latching
on and being called on simultaneously!

So I'd doubly agree with Joy that getting Dad to sit with baby downstairs in
the lounge is probably the best option.
