With her child age 2, the prolactin associated with BF is very low, probably insignificant to her fertility.
A more likely cause of no fertility signs at age 50 is that she's in menopause!

Linda Smith, also age 50 in Dayton OH, stifling a comment on getting pregnant at this point in life.
