Yes, mom could ask for the proof that her breastfeeding "caused" her baby to have allergies!  But even IF that were the case, stopping sooner than she and baby desire is NOT going to "cure" them.

OR she can choose to ignore this physician, and rest assured that she continues to provide her baby with countless benefits.
