Marie,
Your post implied that Type II IDDM risk is NOT elevated in gestational
diabetics who subsequently breastfeed.  Is this what you meant to say?  Please
share this information, it's the first I have heard of it, currently have a
mom with gestational diabetes who is planning to bf anyway...  I thought
gestational diabetes was always a risk factor for Type II DM.
