I'm looking for a study on the cost effectiveness of a breastfeeding
telephone support system. Did La Leche League ever do a study on their phone
tree and how effective it is? If they didn't do a study, why do they
continue to offer that service, did they write up some objectives and feel
instead that they were obviously met? or are there any organizations that
have breastfeeding phone support lines that can tell me what you think an
adequate indicator or success in a given population the first year of
implementation, the second year of implementation and the third year of a
three year grant might look like?
